Chet Marino, founder of Verus Partners, brings extensive knowledge and a distinctive personal commitment to executive search and succession planning. With nearly 20 years of experience in the field, he streamlines talent acquisition for director through C-level executives.

Chet assists small- to medium-sized growth firms in diverse industries, including industrial products, financial services, life sciences, advanced technology, and energy and natural resources. Verus Partners provides professional placement for a variety of disciplines such as marketing, sales, manufacturing, engineering, finance, and general management. Chet’s combination of tenacity, resourcefulness, and personalized dedication results in highly effective hiring solutions.

As the single point of contact for Verus clients, Chet quickly develops a keen understanding of key challenges facing client companies, the corporate culture, and the expectations of a successful candidate. He coordinates the entire search process — from fact finding to final placement to follow up.

Chet holds a bachelor’s degree in management science from Nazareth College and a master’s of business administration in marketing from Regis University. He is on the board of DenverWorks, a nonprofit organization that aids people with barriers to employment, and is a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Denver chapter, which serves professionals involved in corporate growth, development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Originally from upstate New York, Chet and his wife Julie enjoy music, the arts, biking, and travel. They have two children, Lee and Rachel.
